On May 7, 1999, the International House of Prayer Missions Base (IHOP–KC) was founded by Mike Bickle and twenty full-time “intercessory missionaries” who cried out to God in prayer with worship for thirteen hours each day. Four months later, on September 19, 1999, our prayer and worship expanded to the full 24/7 schedule. IHOP–KC is an evangelical missions organization that is committed to praying for the release of the fullness of God’s power and purpose as we actively win the lost, heal the sick, feed the poor, make disciples, and impact the seven spheres of society (family, education, government, economy, arts, media, and religion). Our vision is to work in relationship with the larger Body of Christ to serve the Great Commission, as we seek to walk out the two great commandments to love God and people.

Combining 24/7 prayers for justice with 24/7 works of justice
On September 19, 2009, while celebrating our ten-year anniversary together, we made a sober commitment before God to combine 24/7 prayers for justice with 24/7 works of justice until the Lord returns. Outreach has always been a vital part of our mission. However, at that time, we set our heart to significantly increase our outreach and ministry to others outside our Missions Base. Thus, we are launching many new outreach ministries that will continue 24/7 alongside our 24/7 prayer and worship.

Intercessory missionaries
We refer to our full-time IHOP–KC staff as “intercessory missionaries.” They raise their own support to work as full-time missionaries who reach out to others from a lifestyle of prayer and worship. Today, about 1,500 believers (staff, students, and interns) serve full-time, investing fifty hours per week as they go from the prayer room to the classroom and then to ministry outreaches and works of service. Also, as those who are committed to the forerunner message, we are preparing ourselves to prepare others for the unique dynamics of the generation in which the Lord returns.

Outreach
Our new IHOP–KC ministries and outreaches include increasing our current inner city outreach with a mobile food truck and on-site food distribution, discipleship programs, a health clinic, provision of food and clothing for our children’s outreaches, big brother and big sister programs, and an adopt-a-block program. Other new outreaches include Hannah’s Dream adoption agency, Exodus Cry helping victims of human trafficking, our Women’s Life Center which will provide homes and restoration programs for victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, prostitutes who respond to the gospel, and a crisis pregnancy center and birth mother homes to help women who refuse abortion and choose life.

We believe ministry is done best when our lives are rooted in prayer and worship that focuses on intimacy with God, as we intercede for a breakthrough of the fullness of God’s power.

Built in 1997 with the mission to bring every home in the national territory the Gospel of Christ and the Word of God, the Rede Gênesis acquired a loyal following because of its descurso mature and honest about Christian practices, promoting moral values, social and spiritual society.

Present in hundreds of cities and reached millions of homes, the Rede Gênesis displays a varied program with 24 hours of entertainment – are cartoons, movies, documentaries, music, sports, interviews, concerts, broadcasts of worship, testimony, journalism, and much more, affecting people of all ages, genders and social classes.

The success of the Rede Gênesis certainly is due to its content open to all Christians, without designation exclusive. That is, a channel that reaches the different parts of the country Protestant.

The Angel Foundation uses the Evangelical Alliance Basis of Faith to ensure that participating individuals/churches and groups uphold the same values.

We accept the revelation of the triune God given in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments and confess the historic faith of the Gospel therein set forth.

We assert the following doctrines which we regard as crucial to the understanding of the faith and which should issue in mutual love, practical Christian service an evangelistic concern.

We Believe

The sovereignty and grace of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in creation, providence, revelation, redemption and final judgement.

The divine inspiration of the Holy Scripture and its consequent entire trustworthiness and supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

The universal sinfulness and guilt of fallen man, making him subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.

The substitutionary sacrifice of the incarnate Son of God as the sole sufficient ground of redemption from the guilt and power of sin and from its eternal consequences.

The justification of the sinner solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ crucified and risen from the dead.

The illuminating, regenerating, indwelling and sanctifying work of God the Holy Spirit.

The priesthood of all believers, who form the universal Church, the Body of which Christ is the Head and which is committed by His command to the proclamation of the Gospel throughout the world.

The expectation of the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory.
